Pebbles "This Family" Layout- Mix & Match Week

For Pebbles Mix & Match week I was so excited to finally be able to use
"Seen & Noted" and "Walnut Grove!"  I threw in a little "Sunny Side" too.

I absolutely love scrapbooking my family.
It's the reason I scrapbook in the first place, so create family albums and remember memories.

The woodgrain, yellow background, and paper flower, "Life is Good" banner sticker, as well as the masking tape stickers are from Walnut Grove.  The number tiles are new Thickers.  I LOVE them.

The tag, the "Family" sentiment, clothespin, "Family" and "Date" journaling tags, and the chipboard thought bubble are from the "Seen & Noted" collection.

The green vine patterned paper at the top, and the border stickers are from the "Sunny Side" collection.

I love how this layout came together, and I love the photo.
That photo shoot was so much fun, and it's my favorite family photo we've taken.

Pebbles "Too Cute To Spook" Layout

It's almost HALLOWEEN!
Wahoooo!

This is definitely my favorite holiday.
I love the colors, the dress-up, the music, the creepy movies....
I love the cute decor everywhere.

It's just fun!  Not too serious, or heartfelt, or lovey-dovey (though I love Valentines, too)
but just plain FUN!

It's Tricks & Treats week on the Pebbles blog,
and I decided that the collection matched my daughter's costume- plus "pupl" (purple)
one of her favorite colors.

Here's my layout:

The funny thing about this layout is that as I adhered all the pieces I left out a huge piece of paper.
I didn't notice until late that night after I'd already glued it all together, photographed it, and submitted it when I was cleaning up : /

I think it turned out adorable anyway.  How could it not with that cute face on it?

Have you ever done anything like that?

The photo is super blurry, but that doesn't keep me from scrapbooking it.
Sometimes the blurry photos are the only ones of your kids smiling. Know what I mean?

The "A" and "B" sides of this collection are perfection.  The color palate is delicious!
I love the stickers and embellishments, too.  It's cute yet not "cutesy."
There are darling little owls and other Halloween characters, as well as candy corns, spider webs, tombstones.... it's just fun.

And the letters are NEW Thickers!  I LOVE Thickers- and since Pebbles is owned by the same company as American Crafts, we get to play with Thickers, too :)
The purple and white ones are SPARKLY!!!  I just can't say enough how much I love them!

Happy Almost-Halloween!

Imaginisce "Tri Shutter" Birthday Card

Yesterday on the Imaginisce Blog I shared a card I made using the Clicut
retractable craft knife.

These cards are called "Tri Shutter" cards, and I've seen them around and always wanted to make one-
so I finally did.

I have a short paragraph about how it's made on the Imaginisce Blog.
You can see it HERE.

Doodlebug Tri-Fold Glitter Card and a Tutorial!

I have a tutorial on the Doodlebug Blog today for this card!

Cute, huh!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween!  I love the colors, and I LOVE Doodlebug's new Haunted Manor collection.  This week on the Doodlebug Blog it's "Bling That Thing" week, so made a "blinged out" card.

The spiderweb wasn't on the paper- I created it using Doodlebug's new Metallic Sugar Coating glitter.
This glitter has the best texture, and the shine is brilliant!  It's my favorite of their glitters.

They also have new larger Jewels.

The full tutorial will show you how I did the spiderweb......

And also how to make the card base.

See it on the Doodlebug Blog HERE.

Bella Blvd Fabric- Crayon Apron

I've got four blog posts scheduled this week- so stay tuned for lots of fun projects!

Today Bella Blvd has my first "official" design team project on their blog.

My daughter loves coming with me up to my craft room to make things. She loves to color and play with paper, so I made her a Crayon Apron.  I made the pattern up myself as I went, and I think it turned out pretty dang cute :)  She's already gotten marker on it- so I already have to wash it.

At least she's enjoying it, right?

The apron features Bella Blvd's Crochet Flowers, as well as their Sunny Happy Skies 100% cotton fabrics for Riley Blake which can be found HERE on Riley Blake's website.

Doodlebug Monster Mania Tag

Remember "Scaredy"? My favorite blue monster from last year?
I missed him :)

So I pulled him out again from my closet and thought he needed to be used on another project.
I made this super easy, super fast, super simple tag using a Slim Filagree Create-A-Card in beetle black, and some patterned paper and cute cuts from the Monster Mania collection.

I added the "happy" sticker from the Happy Birthday "Doodles" sticker sheet, and of course, "Scaredy" the Doodle-Pop sticker.

The ribbon strands are from American Crafts and Stampin' Up!,
and are tied together using lilac Doodle Twine.

Happy Almost-Halloween!!

Bella Blvd Design Team Intro Day!

Today it's my turn to be introduced on the Bella Blvd Blog!
I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of this team this year, not only because I LOVE Bella Blvd's designs, but because I took a huge leap and decided to apply for a fabric position instead of a paper position.  Totally not what I was planning on :)

I'd been wanting to apply for Bella Blvd's design team this year.  I've been following their blog for a while, and I'd been planning on applying for a layout or altered projects designer position, but when the call was officially released, and I saw that there was a fabric position, I just couldn't help myself.  How often do you get the opportunity to sew on a design team?  Don't get me wrong- I own every collection of Bella's from this past year, and a couple of collections from the year before, so I love their products- but I thought this would be such a fun opportunity!

So I put all the paper and embellishments away and pulled out the sewing machine instead.

I submitted four fabric projects.  The first one is 100% Bella Blvd for Riley Blake Fabrics, and features prints from their "Sunny Happy Skies" collection.  You can see the full collection HERE which is available in cottons, laminates, and flannels.

The other three projects I submitted all feature Riley Blake Fabrics, and you've seen these projects before on my blog.  I was able to do sewing for two of my other design teams this year using Riley Blake's fabrics.
To see the full projects and blog posts, click on "Sewing" on the right sidebar of my blog under "Labels."

I just received my box a few days ago with all my fabrics and I can't wait to get started.
See my first Bella Blvd Design Team sewing project here and on the Bella Blvd Blog
later this month!

October Page Maps with Pebbles!

The Pebbles Design Team had the great privilege of creating layouts for
Becky Fleck's October Page Maps.

I've been a huge fan of Becky's Page Maps since it's conception and I've been able to do layouts for her before for different design teams. If you aren't familiar with Page Maps, you can learn more on her website www.pagemaps.com HERE and also check out THIS BOOK: Scrapbooking Page Maps and THIS BOOK: Scrapbooking Page Maps 2, both of which are fabulous, and both of which I own.

You can see all the Pebbles Design Team's layouts on Becky's October Page Maps HERE.

I was sent a two page 12x12 sketch and here's my layout.
I used the new "Tricks & Treats" line.
Halloween is my favorite holiday so I was totally excited to break it out.
I absolutely adore this collection!
The solid cardstock is American Crafts and the "2009"
are brand new Thickers (also by American Crafts).

Here's the sketch the layout is based on:

Feel free to play along!
Snag one of the sketches and you'll see it's the easiest and fastest way to create a great layout!
